The role will support the Category Efficiency Lead in driving through the transformation programme through the leadership of key Strategic & Alliance suppliers.

The role will be responsible for translating the Procurement Strategy into operational excellencethrough governance and oversight of major supplier relationships across Santander.

The role helps ensure that quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness of the work delivered by our suppliers meets Santander expectations.

The difference you'll make
:


  • Executing a supplier management model which supports the transformation to an industry leading Procurement function
  • Managing the interaction between respective suppliers and internal program delivery leaders to provide adequate visibility of interdependent initiatives and programmes
  • Reporting performance of selected vendors to ensure delivery in line with contractual obligations and the defined performance metrics
Identifying and supporting the reengineering of end to end customer processes that include our 3rd party supplier base


What you'll bring
:


  • Experience of managing material supplier relationships in a highly regulated environment such as financial services or equivalent, whilst managing supplier risk and compliance
  • Evidenced experience of driving significant commercial value from supplier relationships along with outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills

It would also be nice for you to have
:


  • Experience of managing suppliers in the operations category, particularly Customer Communications (Paper and Digital)
  • Track record of introducing innovation by matching supplier services to business needs
  • Excellent financial analysis skills
  • Financial services industry experience

What else you need to know.

This is a full time role that will be based at either Milton Keynes or Bradford and will follow a Hybrid approach.

You will need to attend the office or meet suppliers 2 days a week.
