Cardiff and Vale College are looking for three Student Finance Officers to join our Student Finance team which sits within our Student Services function.

As a Student Finance Officer, you will provide impartial advice and guidance to all potential and current students. To ensure the best possible learner experience and outcomes as seen in relevant College KPIs.

You will have an enthusiastic approach to work and display a "can-do" attitude.

You'll love working as part of a great team and be someone able to work well under pressure producing results in a busy working environment.


Specific responsibilities of this post include:

  • Provide effective information, advice and guidance to all learners regarding the various financial support available to them.
  • Promote and disseminate information available for Student Financial Support at Open Evenings, college events, or face to face drop in sessions and pop up workshops.
  • Support the wider Student Services team with the enrolment and admissions processes.
You will have strong IT Skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Office. You will have a good general education background including GCSE Maths & English. You'll also be able to evidence continuous professional development.

The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh would be advantageous but not essential.
