Our Client;


We are working alongside an incredibly innovative drug discovery business based in South Oxfordshire who due to continued growth are now looking to add a site based Warehouse Operative to their growing industrial team.


Hours;
40 Hours per week 08:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday


The Role;

  • To ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner and that all equipment and racking is regularly checked and complies with Safety Legislation
  • Changing gas cylinders, refilling liquid nitrogen containers
  • Support of regular warehouse supplies, warehousing, picking and internal distribution, returning of goods
  • To ensure the warehouse ERP system is accurately maintained in terms of stock quantity, location, reorder optimal levels
  • Support company procedures for stock taking
  • Provide support on other duties when required
  • Physical Transfer of stock within Milton Park sites
  • Maintain Good Housekeeping in the stores area and assist with 5S implementation within the department

Key skills & knowledge required;

  • Must have experience with Warehouse ERP Systems
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Previous warehouse operations experience, ideally in laboratories/ pharma
  • Flexible, enthusiastic and reliable
  • Proactive approach to work with the ability to problem solve issues
  • Positive attitude towards continuous improvement projects
  • Driving License

Desirable;

  • Counter balance, VNA, Reach License
  • IATA/ADR certification
  • Experience and knowledge of COSHH regulations
