    We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team specializing in Service in our Distribution Business Segment in Southwest England.

    This is a permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm.

    Salary up to £50,040 depending on skill, knowledge and experience plus over time and annual bonus

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    • To carry out troubleshooting, repairs and overhaul on a range of on all Cummins products from mid-range to High Horse Power product for markets including; On-Highway, Off-Highway, Industrial, Marine, and Powergen. These duties will be undertaken on Customer sites but at time this will be also required in our workshops, and due to the nature of the role there will be at time some working away from home where needed.
    • Working to documented service procedures Cummins published SRT (Standard repair times) and completing all work and documentation on time and to a high standard using the electronic tools provided (Guidanz, ANVL etc).
    • Support local Branch in our various local CIT projects throughout the year.

    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
    • Significant field service work experience is essential
    • Expert level knowledge of and/or experience with diesel engine products
    • Customer service experience
    • Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)
    • Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)

    Additional Information:

    • Locally valid driving permit required.
    • This role is remote.
