About the role

Job Purpose


As Principal Implementation and Training Lead, you will manage client-focused education requirements and provide expert consultative support for our clients and business leaders.

Specifically, you will take full ownership for Client Learning within our Interactive Response Technology (IRT) product line.


You will engage with IRT leaders across multiple functions within the business to define educational solutions to meet Client needs and advocate the agenda of learning at senior level.

You will support optimal Client adoption of the IRT product, gathering requirements from multiple stakeholder groups and looking for opportunities to drive efficiency and value.


Off the back of the above work, you will design learning strategies to support Client adoption of the IRT product.

You will review what the Learning team needs to achieve by reviewing client feedback in regards to what their learning needs are.

Lastly, you will also manage higher level & strategic Client learning projects.


This is an excellent opportunity for a senior client learning / training specialist with strong experience in developing, defining & managing client learning projects and broader client learning strategy within a Technology environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Takes responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution.
  • Identifies, evaluates and recommends options, implementing if required.
  • Collaborates with, and facilitates stakeholder groups, as part of formal or informal consultancy agreements. Seeks to fully address client needs, enhancing the capabilities and effectiveness of client personnel, by ensuring that proposed solutions are properly understood and appropriately exploited.
  • Plans and schedules the delivery of learning activities, based on learning objectives.
  • Manages the delivery of programmes of learning.
  • Define & develop Client learning strategies.
  • Strategic development of Client learning solutions based on Client & business feedback. Where no feedback is available, engage with Client to develop a feedback mechanism.
  • Project management of high priority, complex and/or strategic Client learning programmes.
  • Advocate the agenda of Client Learning at Senior Director level and above.
  • Accountability for the budgeting of learning solutions & participate in contract negotiations with Clients.
  • Provide mentorship & coaching to Senior Training Specialists and Consultants within the team.
Essential Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience of training and development within a Product / Technology environment
  • Strong experience in developing and defining training strategies for clients.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills with experience in client relationship management.
  • Excellent track record of managing complex & strategic learning / training projects and initiatives.
  • Previous experience within budgeting & contract negotiations
  • Previous experience of coaching and mentoring colleagues
  • A strong sense of initiative & selfconfidence; adaptable and able to cope with changing & evolving priorities
  • A selfstarter who is able to work under own initiative
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Learning Management Systems experience would be helpful but not essential.
