Description
Goodman Masson are working with a private equity backed portfolio business to recruit for a Senior Capital Accountant.
They have invested billions into high quality affordable housing over the past 5 years and are aiming to become the largest contributor to new affordable housing in the country.
You will lead responsibility for accounting for acquisitions, construction costs, disposals and grant funding as well as supporting projectsand change management programmes.
Day to day duties:
- Leading on preparation of accounting for fixed assets, and maintenance of the register
- Leading in preparation of materials for the approval of fixed asset acquisition payments
- Supporting cash flow forecasting for shortterm capital requirements
- Liaising with other departments of the firm to ensure efficient management of fixed asset accounting and management of shortterm cash flow
- Preparation of documents for audit purposes
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency of controls
Essentials;
- ACA qualified with an audit background
- Strong technical accounting experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Team management experience
