We have an exciting opportunity for a part time band 3 Therapy Assistant to become part of a dynamic Orthopaedic Therapy team at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.

Your role will involve working alongside both Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in the patient pathway from pre-operative education and assessment through to a safe and timely discharge from hospital.


We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and enthusiastic who is seeking an opportunity to implement and progress rehabilitation programmes to ward based patients.

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) provides hospital services to around 570,000 people living in Hampshire and parts of West Berkshire, and specialist services to patients from all over the country.

We deliver a full range of district hospital services in a variety of locations.

You can expect to receive a robust induction and competency training programme. This will be further developed through regular training and supervision sessions with senior members of the team. You will have opportunities to shadow other members of the multi disciplinary team and will have further development opportunities highlighted while working for as a therapy assistant at Basingstoke hospital
