Description
A cloud native software development firm are seeking a principal.

Net developer to join one of their full stack development teams on a permanent basis to work on a mixture of greenfield and existing projects as part of their global expansion.

The principal.

Net developer will operate as a technical lead in a full stack (C#.Net Core, NodeJS, JavaScript) team who focus on designing and developing new APIs and backend components for the software suite and client integration projects, contributing to the full softwaredevelopment lifecycle.


This position supports largely remote working, with most technical team members working from the London or East Midlands offices around once per week (dependent on individual circumstances).


Some of the core work the Principal.

Net developer would be focussed on:

  • Working with architects and technical team leaders to make key architectural, design pattern and technical decisions as part of the design and development of new platforms and features
  • Playing a key role in the direction and architecture of backend and API/messaging systems
  • Working with automation testing specialists to design and implement Test Driven Development practices as part of greenfield projects
  • Driving CI and automation adoption to improve the speed and efficiency of software delivery
  • Working with technical leaders and product teams to understand client's requirements, translating them into technical solutions
  • Supporting Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters and team leaders in defining and implementing Agile and technical best practices

Principal.

Net Developer - Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong commercial C#.Net development experience to senior, lead or principal level
  • Web/REST API development
  • Azure or AWS cloud environment experience
  • Test Driven Development or Unit/Automated testing experience

Principal

Net Developer - Ideal Experience:

  • AGILE methodology
  • CI/CD pipeline development and integration
  • API tooling, infrastructure and security
  • Additional experience with JavaScript, Typescript, Angular or React
