Mobile Service Engineer

Salary:
Up to £35,000 (depending on experience and call out), company vehicle and Veolia benefits

Hours:40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm. Call out 1 in 3. Also working one in three weekends with time off in lieu.

Location:
Mobile in the South Wales area

What will you be doing?

Safe operation and maintenance of steam and hot water boiler plant in line with statutory legislation.
Site Safety and Environmental checks and inspections in line with the requirements of our business management system.
Monitoring and maintaining efficiency of the plant through the tools provided.
To work with the Operations Supervisor and Technicians in delivering the Facilities Management VMR through the agreed Site Improvement Plan
To accommodate our engineering apprentices in all activities and provide mentorship and guidance in their tasks
To represent Veolia in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with our clients to meet their needs and deliver excellent customer service.

What are we looking for?

Engineering time served apprenticeship.
Competent and experienced to carry out Mechanical and/or Electrical fault finding and maintenance.
Ideally you will have F Gas experience or be qualified, however, training will be provided
Able to use Computer based diagnostic tools to fault find on a range of plant equipment.
Available to be part of the call out rota covering weekends
To ensure best practices and compliance with Health and Safety requirements
Experience in a similar industry would be an advantage
Full UK driving licence.
