- Perform a wide range of hand surgeries and injections, including but not limited to, carpal tunnel release, trigger finger, Dupuytren's contracture, De Quervain's syndrome and Ulnar nerve release.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient care.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and patient education.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Experienced GPs with a specialist interest in hand surgery
- Completion of specialty training in Orthopaedics with experience in Hand Surgery.
- Proven experience in performing a variety of hand surgeries independently.
- Proficiency in the latest surgical techniques
- Proficiency in local anaesthesia techniques and wound closure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- GMC registration with licence to practice
- Hand Surgery Course Certificate
- Evidence of specialist training in Orthopaedics / CCT certificate
- Experience of working in Hand Surgery independently
- Performers List proof for GPs (any performers list in the UK is acceptable)
- Up to date DBS
