Job Description

As a Hotel Linen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in our guest rooms and public areas. Your primary responsibility will be to handle all aspects of linen management, ensuring an efficient and smooth flow of clean linens throughout the hotel.

The Role

• Linen Management: Collecting, sorting, and distributing all linens, including bed sheets, towels, and tablecloths.
• Stock Control: Maintaining an organised linen storage area and replenishing linen supplies in guest rooms and public areas as needed.
• Room Setup: Assisting housekeeping team with preparing guest rooms for arrivals, including making beds and restocking amenities.
• Guest Service: Responding to guest requests for additional linens promptly and delivering them to their rooms.
• Reporting: Notifying the Housekeeping Manager of any damaged or stained linens that need replacement.
• Team Collaboration: Cooperating with other departments, such as Front Desk, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Health and Safety: Complying with all hotel policies and procedures related to health, safety, and sanitation.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills..
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
