As our IT Administrator you will demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills to provide administrative support to the Group IT Team at Dalkia UK including financial / accounting / invoicing reconciliation and management of issues, producing reporting and metrics, arranging meetings and helping with ad hoc administrative duties as required.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic candidate to progress their career in IT administration and assist in the standardisation of and structure of processes and procedures within an evolving department.
As our IT Administrator you will:Provide efficient and customer focused administrative assistance to the IT team
Assist in the procurement of IT items; raising purchase orders, reconciling invoices, managing supplier and internal finance team payment queries for all IT purchasing/invoices.
Produce Metrics on IT department performance as well as weekly/monthly management reporting.Produce Service Desk reports/metrics/dashboards from system generated data
Manage the administration of the telephony accounts (Vodafone/EE and BT) including account queries, invoices and producing monthly usage stats and summaries.
Assist with supplier contract management including maintaining a contract register, onboarding new vendors and managing a schedule of supplier engagementManage software licensing renewals schedule to ensure their timely execution.
Assist with IT hardware stock management and reporting and track against budget
Contribute to and help maintain internal processes and documentation (including ITIL based docs) to ensure their refresh cycle is kept current
Assist with other ad hoc IT administrative work as required which may include coordination of meetings/events and communication coordination.
Analytical – able to analyse data, draw out themes/trends to inform data driven decisionsCommercial Awareness – understands the importance of managing costs and expense, applying the necessary controls
Risk Management – is aware of the impact on risk to the business and applies the necessary controls
Basic knowledge of Service Desk Management Systems
Be able to demonstrate advanced, hands-on knowledge of utilising Microsoft products (O365) including Sharepoint
Have the ability to multitask and prioritise workload, while maintaining efficiency and quality of work
ITIL Foundation certified or exposure to an IT ITIL environment
Reporting or dashboard skills using Microsoft Power BI or similar
Experience in a similar role in IT Administration
