    Group Director of Regulatory ComplianceLondonBoston Link's client, a prominent company in the online gambling and entertainment industry, is seeking an experienced Director of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs to join their team.

    The successful candidate will play a crucial role in embedding and refining the compliance framework, focusing on team management, regulatory analysis, and process implementation at the company's headquarters and operational levels.


    About the Role:

    Compliance Knowledge:
    Proficiency in gambling regulations across multiple jurisdictions; with the ability to interpret and apply them practically within the company's context while considering commercial objectives

    Process Management:
    Skills in monitoring, assessing, and improving compliance processes

    Gambling Industry Expertise:
    Ability to critically evaluate regulatory frameworks, perform impact analysis at both local and group levels, and provide constructive advice to the business

    Strategic Transaction Support:
    Excellence in supporting strategic transactions, including M&A, finance, and key strategic initiatives

    Training and Development:
    Ability to develop and deliver training materials to enhance staff understanding and competence in compliance matters

    Analytical Skills:
    Capability to analyze data and feedback to identify process improvement opportunities

    Communication Skills:
    Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate technical and compliance requirements to all levels, both internally and externally

    Technology Proficiency:
    Familiarity with compliance software and tools that aid in monitoring and reporting, with a vision for implementation at the head office level and long-term operations

    Leadership and Relationship Management:
    Manage a team across multiple offices, requiring frequent travel. Develop relationships with operational counterparts and strategic relations with stakeholders, including at the shareholder level.


    About YouExperience:
    A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in compliance and regulatory affairs within the gambling sector, with significant time spent in leadership or senior management positions

    Meticulous attention to detail to ensure comprehensive compliance coverage

    Patient and Persuasive:
    Ability to patiently explain and persuade others about the importance of compliance and adherence to processes

    Integrity and Ethical:
    High standards and integrity to lead by example and maintain trustworthiness in compliance matters, with a willingness to provide independent advice and recommendations to management

    Comfortable with change and able to proactively address emerging compliance issues or regulatory changes, managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
