    As a Senior Data Analyst within the Data and Analytics team, you will form part of the team responsible for the development and improvement of the company's core datasets.

    Your numeracy skills, thematic knowledge, and imagination will help to drive the ongoing evolution and development of the geospatial risk datasets and maximize their commercial potential.

    You will have the opportunity to be creative through the development of new datasets, models, and products that deliver risk intelligence to our corporate, investor and insurance clients in line with our data strategy.

    You will be based in London, Bath or Edinburgh and report to the Team Lead – Geospatial Risk Analytics. Supporting the update cycle of the company's geospatial risk datasets.
    Leading by example for more junior colleagues around quantitative skills, attention to detail, and quality assurance.

    Be a capable and trusted member of the Geospatial Risk Data team that can independently lead innovative projects and deliver timely, accurate results.

    Support the improvement of the datasets by synthesizing client feedback, identifying and/or creating new data sources, and implementing new approaches and methodologies.

    Advanced Excel skills (required), experience of using geospatial analysis tools e.g., Arc, QGIS (preferred), experience using Python for data analysis including relevant statistics and visualizations libraries (preferred).

    ~5+ years of work experience in a quantitative role (required)
    ~ Domain knowledge, either through qualifications or work experience, in one or several of human rights, politics, the environment, or economics. Candidates with strong domain knowledge in climate change, earth systems, natural hazards, or environment-related fields are especially preferred.
    ~ Experience of working with large, multi-dimensional data (preferred)
