Graduate Learning Support Assistant - Liverpool
Are you a graduate who is genuinely passionate and committed to making a difference in the lives of
young learners across Key Stage 3 & 4?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you in
Crosby, Liverpool.


A 'Good' secondary academy is currently seeking learning support assistants to work in their inclusion hub and play a vital role in shaping the minds of their secondary students with SEN.


This position is perfect for anyone with a degree and looking to start a career working with children or young adults, especially within SEN.


In this role, collaboration and teamwork are crucial as you will work closely with the teachers and SENCo to address student needs.

You will be provided with various responsibilities that will challenge and inspire you daily


Starting ASAP, this term-time-only role will last for the remainder of the 2023/24 academic year and offers an excellent salary of
£430 - £450 per week hours)

Your Key Responsibilities:


  • 1:1 and small group pupil support under the direct supervision of teaching staff.
  • Supporting independent learning and providing feedback to the teacher.
  • Supporting the teacher with managing behaviour and keep pupils on task.
  • Helping to create a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Supporting pupils in social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Ensuring all pupils feel valued and included in the classroom.


In this role, you'll provide practical learning support to their learners under the guidance of the class teachers and SENCo.


You will need:


  • Passion and enthusiasm to shape the next generation.
  • An interest in secondary school education or SEN.
  • Have high expectations of teaching and learning.
  • Ability to relate well to pupils and adults.
  • To have good communication skills
  • To be confident, selfassured and happy.
  • Be keen to develop as a professional
