Media Sales Executive

Reporting to the publisher, responsibilities include:

  • Manage advertising and sponsorship sales across print and digital platforms for a leading
media portfolio within the aerospace industry

  • A majority of the sales will be performed over the telephone but, on occasion, some facetoface presentations may be required, such as attending international trade events
  • Manage existing accounts and develop new business
revenue updates on a weekly basis

  • Keep client database up to date with new and existing contacts
  • Work with designers and production team to ensure the smooth transition of client advertising
campaigns

  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to consider new projects and/or brand extensions to
drive revenue streams
outside normal business hours


Skills:


  • Some training will be provided, but we are looking for a minimum of one to two years sales
experience, preferably in a B2B media environment

  • Demonstrate an overall professional approach to the sales function
  • With strict deadlines, demonstrate the ability to handle pressure situations
  • Confident individual with a creative approach
  • Enthusiastic and driven to get the job done
  • The ability to work on their own initiative
  • Being comfortable in travelling internationally, on some occasions potentially alone
  • Good IT skills with experience using MS Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbally
  • The ability to adapt as negotiations will be conducted with people from various cultures
