Media Sales Executive
Reporting to the publisher, responsibilities include:
- Manage advertising and sponsorship sales across print and digital platforms for a leading
- A majority of the sales will be performed over the telephone but, on occasion, some facetoface presentations may be required, such as attending international trade events
- Manage existing accounts and develop new business
- Keep client database up to date with new and existing contacts
- Work with designers and production team to ensure the smooth transition of client advertising
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to consider new projects and/or brand extensions to
outside normal business hours
Skills:
- Some training will be provided, but we are looking for a minimum of one to two years sales
- Demonstrate an overall professional approach to the sales function
- With strict deadlines, demonstrate the ability to handle pressure situations
- Confident individual with a creative approach
- Enthusiastic and driven to get the job done
- The ability to work on their own initiative
- Being comfortable in travelling internationally, on some occasions potentially alone
- Good IT skills with experience using MS Excel, Outlook and Word
- Good communication skills, both written and verbally
- The ability to adapt as negotiations will be conducted with people from various cultures
