Learner Engagement Officer (AEB Contract Skills Division)

Salary:
£23,000 £24,000.00 per year

  • FTE Office based in Basildon Essex, Monday
  • Thursday , Friday
  • Reports to: Contracts Manager

Job Purpose for a Learner Engagement Officer

  • Be responsible for supporting our AEB programme by identifying, engaging, and registering potential learners onto the programme and completing administrative tasks
  • Provide a sense of authority to potential learners enabling them to feel more confident and manage their expectations
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and motivate others to develop/grow industry-specific knowledge and skills

Key Responsibilities for a Learner Engagement Officer

  • Identify and work with referral agencies to promote the AEB programme and obtain referrals for eligible people across Essex and London as per the contract requirements and attend events such as job fairs and careers events to promote the organisation
  • Act as first point of contact for all AEB learners, providing promotional & informative overview of TheLightBulb AEB courses, gaining participant commitment to positively focus on their digital skills development and employment journey
  • Conduct initial screening/checks v/s eligibility criteria
  • Complete all contractual paperwork for learners to start the Programme
  • Responsible for all admin-related duties around onboarding learners, co-ordinating course attendances and working with in the AEB team to provide additional admin support as required
  • Support with the collection and chasing of evidence needed to successfully claim funding.
  • Co-ordinate the collection of case studies and learner feedback for the contract
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy with all aspects of service delivery.
  • Deliver a high-quality service in line with TheLightBulb's delivery model.
  • Create awareness amongst the learners about our company's vision of equal opportunities and values.
  • Be commercially aware and understand contractual requirements and be willing to adjust delivery to ensure requirements are being met
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of initiative and motivation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good administration, co-ordination and organisational skills
  • Experience of communicating with a wide range of potential clients
  • High levels of accuracy and detail when completing contractual paperwork
  • Experience in assessing an individual's need and suitability for our programme
  • Competent in using IT systems namely the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Be commercially aware and understand contractual requirements and be willing to adjust delivery to ensure requirements are being met
