Are you a qualified accountant looking for your next opportunity? Do you want to be part of a socially and environmentally conscious organisation? A rapidly growing ESG investment company are looking for a Financial Controller to join their impressive team.

Who would you be working for?

Part of a wider infrastructure development group, this project-based organisation helps to alleviate poverty and enable infrastructure development in lower income countries by providing local currency credit solutions.

Working in over 20 countries globally,this ambitious team is looking for someone equally ambitious to join them.

What is the role?
Joining the team based in Central London, you would have the opportunity to work flexibly

Main responsibilities include:

Managing monthend processes; maintain accurate financial records
Overseeing all financial operations; managing three direct reports
Ownership of financial controls; preparing for yearend in line with IFRS
Supporting the Finance Director with a variety of projects & initiatives

This role is offering a salary of up to £85,000, with very impressive benefits & a discretionary annual bonus.

What do you need to succeed?

A full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent), at least 3 year PQE
Strong technical accounting skills; proven knowledge of IFRS standards
Previous experience managing a team & developing junior staff members
Confident user of Excel and other accounting systems; knowledge of Business Central beneficial
Great communication skills; the ability to communicate financial information effectively
An affinity with the organisation & a passion for reducing poverty
