Client
This premier investment firm undertake rigorous research and deploy systematic, computer-driven trading strategies across multiple liquid asset classes. Technology is central to their success. Systematic macro trading within FX and Futures, they run both intra-daystrategies and build HFT strategies to run passively.
Role
They're looking for a strong quant developer to own the system-wide design and build-out of a quant futures and FX platform of this trading team.
You will get autonomy over all of the design and architectural decisions, working closely with the Portfolio Managerto implement strategies.
The initial focus will be on the HFT part of the trading stack, but taking ownership of the mid-frequency stack is possible in time as well.
This is currently a team of 6 you'll help grow; the PM, 3 researchers and 2 technologists developing high-performance/low-latency components for live trading and simulation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' professional experience in a similar quant business
- HFT background with lowlatency C++ skills (some Python is a plus)
- Bachelor's (or MSc / PhD) in computer science or other quantitative discipline
- Experience developing both aggressive and passive tactics
- Knowledge of developing backtesting, simulation and trading systems
