Family and Community Engagement Worker (2 positions)

£26,000 per annum

Full Time (35 Hours Per Week)

_Better Start Bradford is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund to help children in Bowling and Barkerend, Bradford Moor and Little Horton get the best start in life._

We deliver over 20 projects for expectant families and families with children aged 0-3, including support before, during and after birth, reading, play, healthy cooking and eating and English language skills.

We are seeking two people to be the face of Better Start Bradford within our communities, supporting families with 0-3s to be more involved and take ownership of local activities, including Better Start Bradford's own projects and services.

You will be experienced in working with families - including dads and male carers - in community settings to support the parent/child relationship, demonstrating an understanding of the importance of early childhood development.

This is an exciting and rewarding role involving relationship building, outreach work, events, and keeping up to date with emerging needs.
