It is an exciting opportunity for WDH as our Compliance team grows, we are looking to recruit a new Compliance Surveyor.


What you'll be doing:


Our Property Compliance Team ensure our policies, procedures and working practices are undertaken in accordance with all relevant Health, Safety and Compliance Regulations and best practice.


In this role you will provide professional building compliance surveying expertise and technical assistance on building compliance areas of Lifts, Electric, Water Management, Asbestos and Fire along with specialist advice on the management of compliance related building works and work streams.


On a day to day basis you will carry out compliance surveys and any other required surveys/inspections as required to ensure property compliance and meet objectives set out in WDH Asset Management Strategic Plan and the Regulator of Social Housing.


What we're looking for some who has:

  • knowledge of CDM regulations and construction related issues;
- experience of undertaking residential building surveys providing fault identification and specify diagnostic remedial works;
- a construction related qualification such as, HNC, CIOB or Diploma in Asset Management / building surveying or similar; and
- effective communication skills with employees, managers, tenants, and stakeholders.
