What we're looking for


We are looking for a Supplier Partnership Consultant to provide support in the relations and daily management of venue suppliers at Inntel.

Reporting to the Supplier Partnership Manager, the purpose of this role is to ensure Inntel achieves the greatest value for money, consultancy expertise and industry leadership for our clients.

You will support the Database & Distribution Co-ordinator to ensure the quality of our data - to cleanse, audit and supplement hotel records within the Inntel Ezi database, delivering a very high level of data integrity to our internal and external clients.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for increased commission, as directed by the Supplier Partnership Manager, and assist in maintaining these relationships moving forward.
  • Support specific dedicated accounts alongside the National Account Manager including the production of client venue programmes, rate negotiations, venue recommendations and room allocations in line with Inntel preferred suppliers and client requirements.
  • Measure, monitor and renegotiate with venues at appropriate levels to consistently achieve best available client specific rates and options.
  • Review and analyse client programmes on a quarterly basis to identify opportunities to renegotiate or redirect business to suppliers and produce quality analysis for each client review to support our recommendations.
  • As required, attend client reviews with the National Account Manager as appropriate and required.
  • Carry out detailed monthly analysis of rate trends, client rate tracking and hotel compliance to ensure Inntel manages and challenges suppliers effectively to ensure client rates and availability are secured. Utilise varied management information and market intelligence to ensure Inntel always achieves greatest value for money in the industry.
  • Support the RFP process throughout the year to ensure that all specific rates are accepted in writing, clients assigned individual NRC codes, rates loaded correctly into Ezi and audits carried out to ensure rates are consistently accessible on Pegasus and iCentral.
  • Build strong relationships with supplier Account Managers and system teams to ensure seamless supplier management and escalation processes are adhered to at all levels.
  • Manage a selection of dedicated suppliers to negotiate additional revenue through increased commissions, overrides, bedbank and marketing funds to maximise Inntel's revenue opportunities and ROI on client spend.
  • Support the annual calendar of supplier activity including office presentations, dropin days, supplier lunches, external presentations and fam trips.
  • Support the annual diary for Inntel's Supplier PR & Marketing initiatives to ensure Inntel is sharing industry news with clients effectively.
  • Sell PR & Marketing opportunities to suppliers to generate and maximise additional revenue in line with KPI's.
  • Support all client implementation plans as required.
  • Support finance with any commission queries to ensure Inntel is paid efficiently and correctly in expected timeframes.
  • Read, collate and share industry news/press releases to increase yours and Inntel's market intelligence and industry knowledge awareness.
  • Assist in coordinating client events, marketing projects and client requests including supplier donations as required.
  • Systematically ensure all hotel database records held on Inntel's Ezi Database meet the minimum data quality required, are up to date and entered in the correct format.
  • To load special offer rates as sourced and qualified by the Supplier Partnership team.
  • Use the Inntel Intranet to publish useful and informative information gathered from the database and suppliers.
  • To participate in Familiarisation trips as deemed necessary by your line manager.
  • Any other tasks which may be deemed necessary from time to time to further enhance the position of Supplier Partnership Consul
