Description

Support the delivery of the Soldier Development program, working alongside the Operational Manager to support contract instructors, stores team, the instructional staff team to create a programme that is challenging to new army recruits to stimulate their development into soldiers making the work both challenging and rewarding.

Lead Instructional Officer

Be able to effectively plan and deliver high quality adventure training sessions within the framework provided by the Army, with an emphasis on safe practice, identified outcomes and a high standard of customer service
Take an active role in the induction, assessment, moderation, and development of new and existing contractor Instructors
Support 'stores' with equipment inspection and maintenance during noninstructional periods or in cases of leave and sickness to maintain service to clients
Support and deputise for the Operations Manager
Deliver a full and wide range of activities (qualification dependent)
Be flexible in your approach to work.
Work as part of the team to ensure the programmes, work colleagues and customers comply with all Health & Safety requirements/regulations and local working practices
Be reflective in your practice, both personally and with recruits, supporting continuous development and improvement in line with the goals of the Adventure Training programme
