Job Description Summary:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Condition Surveyor to join our team in Staffordshire.

To work as part of a team carrying out condition surveys on Schools and Public Buildings using hand-held technology.

You will Inspect every aspect of construction work; make inspection recommendations for problem areas to other stakeholders when necessary.
Entrust provides education support services to LEA maintained schools and academies.

The Property Department offers a broad range of services from maintenance and project management, through energy management to feasibility and design.

In addition to carrying out Condition Surveys there will be an opportunity for:
Identification and scoping of potential projects

Project Delivery
Actively promote best practice and safeguarding through the Entrust port-folio of services.

  • To be responsible for completing Asset Management and Planning building condition surveys for Schools, Academies and other Public Buildings
  • Identify and annotate required changes to CAD plans
  • Liaising with Schools and premise managers to identify potential problem areas within the property
  • To ensure that the appropriate parties are informed of any health & safety concerns identified during the course of a condition survey
  • To review and actively enhance the data collection process and outputs
  • To assist with the development of the AMP process and project prioritisation
  • To support other property teams within Entrust with condition related issues.
  • To provide accurate condition information to support the delivery of maintenance projects and activities where necessary.
  • Provide advice on Asset Management Planning and development issues including statutory obligations and advise on their relative priority.
  • Help coordinate planned capital investment & maintenance to reflect educational and AMP
  • Minimum HND in a construction related discipline.
  • Preferred RICS Accredited degree in building surveying or equivalent.
  • Experience of carry out condition surveys across commercial, education or healthcare property portfolios.
  • UK Driving Licence.
  • A competitive basic salary
