Davies resourcing is working with one of the largest global investment banking and stock brokerages.

With an overwhelming network in Asia and significant presence in the US, they have recently opened their London Office and are growing at a rapid paceto establish themselves properly in the UK.

They are seeking a compliance assistant to work with the head of Compliance and Finance Director who is also the Money Laundering Reporting officer.

This role offers excellent training for someone who wants to furtherbuild their career in compliance.

Responsibilities:

The purpose of the position is to assist the Compliance Team with the daytoday financial crime compliance obligations and also ad hoc tasks as may be required during less busy periods.
Fixed Income, Securities Finance and Equities client onboarding, sanctions checking, PEP screening, adverse news checks, client risk assessments.
Counterparty profile reviews and profile refresh.
Keeping counterparty information up to date.
Liaising with third party supplier for AML training.

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills (Korean / Chinese speaking language skills are preferred)
2 years AML experience (preferred)
Good team working skills
Good analytical skills
Proficient in Officebased software
Ability to see the bigger picture of the company's goals, and to link this to all tasks and projects
Ability to work under pressure
