We are currently working with a fantastic authority that is looking for a Project Manager Project Development

Manage a range of large corridor/cycle route based projects as the client - Needs to have experience and understanding of delivering complex major schemes in a Highways environment

  • Working with and coordinating inhouse engineering, engagement and project support resources as well as overseeing/managing commissions and outputs from external consultants where appropriate (Engineering design/landscape design/traffic modelling, etc)
  • Developing programmes and driving projects so that they stay on track, meet client and funding sponsor requirements, and are progressed and delivered within agreed funding envelopes
  • Experience of undertaking public consultations and engagement on complex and sometimes controversial schemes
  • Experience of working with major developments where they are located along routes/corridors of interest and managing the interface with developers
  • Working with TFL as a key stakeholder in respect to funding opportunities, technical approvals where scheme
