SRS Partnership are recruiting for someone who has experience within tool and mould making within the manufacturing process.


The engineering team at their client's site in Cumbernauld is a key part of the business, creating and delivering the technology and skills needed to design & manufacture innovative products for their customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture new tools and refurbish existing tooling for the production areas.
  • Diagnose tooling or moulding problems / repair of the mould or tool.
  • Where breakdowns occur, repair tooling & machinery efficiently.
  • Follow PPM schedules and highlight areas of potential risk of downtime.
  • Operate conventional machine tools and use inspection tools and techniques.

What do you need to be considered for the role?

  • Ideally be a time served
    Tool or Mould-Maker with a modern apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Tool or Mould Maker role.
  • Ability to fault find & rectify tools in response to component quality defects.
  • Proficient in
    CNC programming / operating of vertical and horizontal centre
  • Haass.
  • Strong communicator.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of lean manufacturing.

Hours of Work will be Monday-Thursday 8am-4.30pm and Friday 8am-3.30pm.

Salary:
£30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
