Job Role:
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic individual to join our Enrolment Team. We are looking for an individual who can provide effective and innovative customer service experience to our prospective students.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support our students proactively in the preregistration process and in their progress throughout our programmes.
- Provide a professional and friendly service to customers and deal with a wide range of enquires within agreed organisation and department targets (KPIs)
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting and processing of enrolment forms on the student record system whilst ensuring all relevant support departments receive accurate and up to date information about specific student needs.
- Provide information, support, and advice on nonacademic queries (including but not limited to The Institution's policies and procedures, finance, funding, health and welfare) and liaising with the appropriate departments, when necessary.
- Act as a central point of contact for student enquires.
- Maintain accurate records and information for students using MS Office suite, CRM system and internal student management systems.
- Help to develop effective processes to get the information required for a proactive approach to Student Support.
- Record data accurately to monitor students' cases, progress and resolutions.
- Maintain awareness of current developments in relevant areas such as The Institution's processes, practices, and policies.
- Cover other areas within the department as and when required.
Additional duties:
- To provide accurate course and student information as required by the Institution.
- To attend team meetings and contribute to Quality Assurance reviews and audits.
- Maintain confidentiality in relation to all Institution information and comply with General Data Prospection Regulations.
- To be involved in the staff development and training schemes. As well as participate in Personal Development Review procedures within the Institution.
- To adhere to the Institution's Equality and Diversity Schem.
- To comply with and implement the Institution's Health and Safety policy.
- To undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as and when required.
Essential:
- GCSEs/A Levels or Equivalent
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to prioritise, making sound and timely decisions using own initiative to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate effective organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Databases.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- High degree of commitment and professionalism.
- Proactiveness.
- Accurate database management skills.
- Embraces change and drives continuous improvement.
- Able to multitask.
Desirable:
- Degree Level qualification or Equivalent
- Administrative role in higher education.
- Customer Service related role.
- Knowledge of the HE sector.
- Ability to gain a working knowledge and understanding of the Institution's policies.
