Protocol are delighted to be recruiting for an Senior Careers Advisor within an educational establishment in the Nottingham area.

Salary:
Up to £31,636

Full time

Permanent

Responsibilities include:

Support and develop the implementation of the FE and HE careers programme
Work with the careers and work experience team leader to take an active lead on the coordination and delivery of the HE careers provision
Actively engage in business development to support our HE students with graduate employability
Mentor and support the trainee careers advisers with their L6 careers guidance qualification
Coordinate and deliver annual careers and work experience expo
Attend networking events with local, regional and national HE providers and employers
Work in partnership with all stakeholders, internal and external, to lead on service evaluation and quality improvement

Education & Training

A level 6 or higher Careers Guidance qualification

GCSE 49 (A

C) or nationally recognised level 2 qualification in English & Maths or equivalent. (e.g. CSE 1, O Level A
C).

Experience

Knowledge and experience of CEIAG delivery in an Education setting
A strong understanding of the careers and employability agenda in relation to Further Education
Demonstrable experience of delivery of group workshops
Experience of developing careers and employability curriculum resources.
