An exciting and rare
flexible part time opportunity has arisen for an organised
Administration Assistant to join a highly regarded, award winning company at their Head Office in Horley.

This is a part time role working Monday to Friday 20-25 hours, between the hours of 07:45 to 16:00. There can be very flexible for the right person but they do need someone working every day.

The company are currently working on a hybrid basis, with 40% of your working hours to be office based.

This is a rolling contract basis, with the opportunity to go permanent with the company in the long term. The role involves a lot of training so we are looking for someone who is eager to learn something new and will be committed for the long term


This role would be perfect for someone with high attention to detail and either with previous experience working within an office environment, or someone looking to start their administrative career with a reputable and well-established organisation.

Working in a supportive and very friendly team, your daily duties will include:

  • Administration and investigation of liabilities
  • receive and log on databases, always adhering to legislation.
  • Liaise with all Highway Authorities and Depots.
  • Taking urgent defects from Highway Authorities, passing over to local deports, keeping withing SLA's.
  • Validation and payment of all liability invoices.
  • Raising invoices for the recharging of contractors.
  • Provide liability management information to the business.

Experience required:

  • Min of 1 year Administration/ office experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong team player and support other colleagues.
  • Able to work effectively on own (whilst at home)
  • Common sense and able to use initiative.
  • Capable of working to defined deadlines.
  • Ability to respond to changing priorities at short notice.
  • Computer literate, competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn current legislation.
  • Able to organise and prioritise own workloads.
