- Act as the main point of contact for safeguarding and child protection issues.
- Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to promote a safe environment.
- Lead on all aspects of safeguarding, including training and policy development.
- Ensure all safeguarding records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of safeguarding practices.
- Provide support and guidance to students and staff on safeguarding matters.
- Previous experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
