Machine Operator

Working for a large specialist manufacturing company, operating a number of different engineering manufacturing machines in different cells to provide general operational support.

Although full training will be provided for the Machine Operator role, basicengineering/manufacturing/workshop/technical experience would be advantageous.
This is a full time,permanent role.


Package for Machine Operator role:


Rates/hours of work:
Shifts premium days only 20%, nights only 45% and alternating days/nights 33%.
Shifts available are day shift (7am to 7pm) and night shift (7pm to 7am) or alternating days/nights.
Full sick pay after 6-months
Free uniform including cleaning and PPE

Key responsibilities of a Machine Operator:

  • Receive and check materials for production
  • Set machine for production
  • Operate a range of engineering/manufacturing machinery
  • Ensure effective handover between shifts
  • Working in accordance to H&S standards
