Description
My client based close to Kirkbymoorside is currently looking to hire a Purchasing Administrator in a temporary capacity for up to 6 months.
Working as part of the Purchasing department, you'll help ensure purchase orders are delivered to clients in a timelymanner.What's in it for you?
- £10.15 per hour
- 37 hour week (Mon Thurs 08.30 to 16.30 and Friday 08.30 to 16:00)
- Free onsite parking
- Providing administrative support for the Purchasing department
- Expediting purchase orders to ensure predicted delivery dates are met, accelerating orders where required
- Obtaining quotes as requested by the internal customers record and return team
- Ordering basic components and effectively liaising with internal teams as required
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and able to effectively work as part of a team
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft apps including MS Word and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and highly accurate work
- Strong numeracy skills
Due to the location of the role, you will need a driving license and your own car.
