My client based close to Kirkbymoorside is currently looking to hire a Purchasing Administrator in a temporary capacity for up to 6 months.

Working as part of the Purchasing department, you'll help ensure purchase orders are delivered to clients in a timelymanner.

What's in it for you?
- £10.15 per hour

  • 37 hour week (Mon Thurs 08.30 to 16.30 and Friday 08.30 to 16:00)

Your new role as a Purchasing Administrator

  • Providing administrative support for the Purchasing department
  • Expediting purchase orders to ensure predicted delivery dates are met, accelerating orders where required
  • Obtaining quotes as requested by the internal customers record and return team
  • Ordering basic components and effectively liaising with internal teams as required
About you

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and able to effectively work as part of a team
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft apps including MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly accurate work
  • Strong numeracy skills
Due to the nature of the role, previous experience working in procurement would prove advantageous.

Due to the location of the role, you will need a driving license and your own car.
