Location:
South Kensington - At least one day per week on site

Salary:
£12.14 per hour

Duration:
ASAP currently for 6 months

Working pattern:
Hours 09.00 am - 5.15pm Mon, Tue, Wed, Thurs hours per week (4 days per week)

Adecco is currently recruiting for a

Retail Merchandising assistant to join a prestigious Museum based in South Kensington.

Roles and responsibilities

Experience in retail merchandising.
Excellent communication (both written and verbal).
Strong prioritisation skills: manages time effectively to deliver to deadlines.
Expert knowledge of MS Excel and merchandising systems.
Confident in communicating with suppliers and building relationships.

Main tasks and responsibilities (job description)

Processing purchase orders on the EPOS system.
Contacting suppliers to chase up outstanding orders and liaising with the Warehouse Team to confirm delivery bookings.
Highlight supplier cost price changes, out of stocks and availability issues to MM and AM and log issues on relevant spreadsheets.
Liaise with the Warehouse Team to resolve stock queries.
Maintain and update the Out of Stock and Deleted Lines weekly reports.
Updating the Top 100 and Zero Sellers weekly reports and communicate to the Retail Team.
Input markdowns that have been agreed with the MM or AM.
Set up new products and new suppliers on the EPOS system.
Working with the Warehouse Team to process book returns.
Assist the AM with processing Inter Departmental Purchases.
