Our client has a new requirement for an IT Security Manager who will be responsible for the firm's day-to-day running of security operations.


The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Information Security they will lead a small team of analysts and 3rd-party security providers. In this role, it will be necessary to wear many hats.

Exciting projects have been planned for next year and continued emphasis will beplaced on continuous improvement of the current information security posture.

The firm is currently working toward ISO 27001 / 02 certification.


Knowledge/Experience:


  • Strong technical security background
  • Handson experience operating and managing the following:
  • Firewalls
  • Access Management
  • SIEM
  • Anti-Malware
  • Vulnerability Scanning
  • Web Filtering
  • Data Loss Prevention
  • Public Key Infrastructure
  • Strong background in security event and incident management essential


This role would suit a leader who is keen to remain hands-on in their role, the client is potentially open to security leaders who have mentored and looking for progression into management.

The firm is ideally looking for industry certifications but willalso encourage this person to upskill where required within the position (CISSP / CCSP)

Hybrid working - 2 days per week in the office
