This is an exciting opportunity as a
Dispenser in a medical practice based in Durrington where you will be responsible for maintaining the dispensary stock, ensuring efficient stock management, and contributing to the smooth operation of the dispensing services.

As the
Dispenser, you will play a crucial role in minimizing wastage, ensuring accurate stock logging, and maintaining compliance with standard operating procedures.

In your new role as the
Dispenser, you will be responsible for:

  • Reordering stock daily to meet demand.
  • Logging and recording stock following procedures.
  • Minimizing wastage and ensuring proper storage.
  • Managing refrigerated items and temperature control.
  • Returning incorrect stock promptly.
  • Ordering goods through the wholesaler's system.
  • Conducting weekly checks to remove expired stock.
  • Handling invoices and dispensingrelated correspondence.
  • Participating in audits.
  • Attending training sessions and Clinical Governance meetings.
  • Maintaining CPD records and participating in assessments.
  • Contributing to significant event auditing.
  • Improving computer skills.
  • Alerting team members to quality and risk issues.
  • Assessing performance and taking accountability.
  • Reflecting on activities and suggesting improvements.
  • Collaborating with other agencies.
  • Managing time, workload, and resources effectively.
