Job description for Operations Manager Job:

  • Ensure all jobs are invoiced and costed accurately on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for the site Customer Service and Warehouse Operations.
  • Build strong relationships with customers within the area.
  • Commercially focused.
  • Ensure that the Branch is up to date with all Health and Safety and Security regulations.
  • Responsible for all staff training, appraisals, recruitment, investigations, and disciplinary action.
  • Control the costs within the site whilst seeking new way to improve the current processes.
  • Report any issues in line with the current policy.
  • Ensure all jobs are invoiced and costed accurately on a weekly basis.

Job skills required for Operations Manager Job:

  • Self-motivated.
  • Ensure operational Compliance with all Safety/Security & Customs requirements for Manchester office.
  • Strong communicator both written and verbally.
  • Ability to work with an operating budget.
  • Indepth knowledge of Air Cargo Industry, including pricing, sales and administration procedures.
  • Effective decision maker.
  • Ability to motivate and drive a successful team.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise.
  • Min 5 years relevant experience.
