Data Administrator - Salary c£20,000 + Excellent Benefits
Based - Preston / Home Based Hybrid Role
Our client is a leading Pensions Administration provider who are searching for experienced
data
administrators with good numeracy skills. These roles would suit graduates with strong numeracy or data manipulation skills. The roles are a good step as an initial job.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Improvement of data quality and integrity through the investigation of bulk data anomalies
- Liaison with employers of the public sector pension schemes administered by the company
- Assist in the monthly processing and reconciliation of data received from scheme employers
- Manage your workload to ensure deadlines, data quality and performance targets are met
- Maintain member records to ensure all data and data entry is relevant and accurate
- Interfacing admissions (new starters), personal changes, changes of hours, scheme movements, notification of absence, opt outs, requesting transfersin
- Investigate data anomalies effectively and promptly and liaise with employers to improve data quality
- Respond to member queries promptly both written and oral ensuring that service level targets and deadlines are met
- Communicate positively and participate in the sharing of knowledge with colleagues
- Develop an understanding of the current regulations and overriding legislation to improve knowledge
Key Skills and Experience required:
- Effective team worker with Strong mathematics skills, ability to undertake manual pensions calculations and work accurately and to deadlines
- Ability to input data accurately AND efficiently
- The ability to proactively plan, manage and review own individual daily high workload
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written at all levels
- Effective numerical and analytical skills, with proven capability in the use of Word, Excel (to a minimum of intermediate level)
