FINANCE ASSISTANT

LONDON BASED

PERMANENT SALARY:
£30,000 to £35,000

The Opportunity:
A global financial institution is looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and motivated credit controller. You will be working with a diverse array of colleagues and receive imperative knowledge in this finance sector.

You will be reporting to the Financial Controllerand support the business in credit control activities with the wider finance team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing and preparing monthly customer invoices.
  • Debtor reconciliation processing and monitoring accounts receivable with daily reconciliation of ledgers
  • Manage all accounts receivable queries endtoend
  • Credit control duties liaising with the relationship management team to chase outstanding payments
  • Preparation of SAGE accounting journals
  • Handling expense claims
  • Making BACS payments and reconcile online and direct debit payments
  • Assisting with financial audit

Key Skills:

  • Previous credit control experience is essential
  • Working for a financial services firm is desirable
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Multicurrency experience would be an advantage
