Description
As an Accounts Assistant, you will join the Group Finance Team, part of Hargreaves Services plc group companies, to support the Group Cash Manager with the financial planning process.
You will also assist with managing the cash flows for the Group, arranging treasury transactions and regular reports.Hargreaves Services plc is a diverse group, delivering services to the Environmental, Industrial and Property sectors.

Principal Accountabilities:
- Assist with the management of cash flow for all group companies on a daily basis
- Day to day operation of the treasury management system. To include monitoring of treasury policy limits and cash management
- Support on operation and development of treasury management system software and banking treasury operations to ensure an effective Treasury function
- Record and reconcile treasury related transactions for group companies, to include the provision of appropriate supporting documentation for evidence and sign off
- Support the Group Cash Manager to prepare annual treasury budgets for group companies
- Maintain up to date procedures for core activities in key areas of responsibility
- Support the treasury team to achieve its objectives with collaboration and teamwork across group companies
- Maintain the bank reconciliations.
- Any other duties at the request of the Group Cash Manager
Person Specification:
Qualifications:
- GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 4/C and above or Level 2)
- Able to communicate clearly, both written and verbal, with other companies throughout the group
- Proficient IT skills using Microsoft Office, experience with excel preferred.
- High level of attention to detail
- Exceptional organisation skills, both time management and accessibility of departmental documentation/files
- Highly motivated and able to meet designated timescales.
- Capable of working independently and manage their daily requirements.
Salary based on 20 hours per week, hours can be discussed at interview
