Description

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan and execute carpentry projects.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials to build structures, furniture, and fixtures.
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, and molding, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
• Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs, using hand and power tools.
• Repair or replace damaged wooden structures, furniture, or fixtures.
• Sand, stain, and finish wood surfaces to enhance their appearance and durability.
• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and address any concerns.

• Proven experience as a Carpenter and Joiner, with a strong portfolio showcasing your carpentry skills and completed projects.
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and routers.
• Knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery methods, and construction principles.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements accurately.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and assembling wood components.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites as needed.
• Certification or apprenticeship in carpentry or joinery (preferred).
