- Providing a range of tax services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast-growing companies to large corporate entities. Exposure to multiple sectors would be a distinct advantage.
- The role will include managing the tax compliance process for a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients, liaising with them to resolve queries, communicating with internal departments to ensure deadlines are met and overseeing the portfolio to ensure HMRC deadlines are met.
- Tax advisory services will also be an important part of the role, assisting the partners and directors in the delivery of advisory projects.
- A self-starter to join a busy department.
- Experience in managing a portfolio of corporate tax compliance cases, having dealt with clients of varying sizes and complexity across different industry sectors.
- Experience in managing the work-in-progress and billing associated with a portfolio.
- A suitable candidate will be responsible for the coaching and management of junior members of the corporate tax team, and confidently dealing with team members and clients at all levels.
- The ability to handle or input into tax advisory work on a range of clients is required.
- An ability to take ownership of work and a can-do attitude are essential for this role.
