A bit about us:

Kingfisher Brixham supplies local quality fresh fish and seafood to the catering industry in the South West.

We ensure all fish is sourced responsibly where we have links with NGOs such as MSC to develop and market sustainable alternatives.

From our premises in Paignton, we are in a prime coastal position; allowing us to prepare and deliver fresh and frozen, fish and seafood; directly to professional kitchens.


A bit about the role:

We are looking for a motivated, reliable and hardworking Hygiene Operative to join our day team.

You will be responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of all production equipment ensuring production line start up times are met.

You will be working in a cold environment, all PPE will be provided.


What the role involves

  • Cleaning and sanitation of production machinery
  • Completion of hygiene records
  • Ensure that all training is adhered to and all required areas are controlled to meet COSHH standards
  • Ensuring the correct cleaning chemicals are used for the cleaning task as per COSHH
  • Other adhoc hygiene related tasks
  • Adhere to the company's H&S policies and procedures
  • Adhere to the company's Hygiene policies and procedures

A bit about you:


We are looking for a great team player who an eye for attention to detail to join our Technical team as Hygiene Operative.

We would need someone with good communication skills, preferably experience of working in a food manufacturing or similar environment and previous cleaning experience.

This role will involve heavy lifting and working in cold environments.

At times we may require you to be flexible with your working hours.
