As a Barclays Credit Risk Analyst you will provides technical expertise in investigations and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.

Team works on a wide range of business queries such as investigating exposure moves in portfolios, business logicrelated questions, checking mismatches in reconciliation processes and identifying missing static configuration.

In your new role you will work on detecting, analyzing & coordinating resolutions of issues and business queries originated from the CounterpartyCredit Risk processes and systems.

Working Flexibly

What will you be doing?:


  • Working on business queries, investigating the source of Data Quality issues and prioritizing fixes in the relevant upstream systems
  • Running control processes established for reconciliation between Risk and upstream/downstream systems to meet regulatory requirements
  • Leading problem management and Management information tasks
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to the control and reporting environments, documenting issues and proposing resolutions
  • Supporting the delivery of new controls and reporting requirements under various initiatives, whether Regulatory, Audit or Risk Models driven

What we're looking for:


  • Analytical skills and experience in manipulating data during investigations and report generation
  • Knowledge of Derivatives and Security Financing products
  • SQL experience
  • Flexible, excellent communicator, be able to build wide and solid networks with key stakeholders and beyond

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Motivated and individually focused while at the same time patient and collaborative
  • Python knowledge or desire to learn
