Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated, and aspirational leader to engage and support an Investor Insight operations team. In this role you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a demanding and high intensity workstream


The role requires the Associate to foster a can-do attitude amongst the team, with and accuracy and control mindset, whilst providing timely feedback to client on our progress against their deliverables and expectations.

In doing so the individual needs to aspire to fulfill their potential and deliver world class customer experience. The goal is to deliver timely, accurate and high-quality Data for our clients and internal stakeholders.


Data is invaluable to our clients, they have given Colmore the responsibility to collate, understand and present performance data across their investments.

Failure to capture in a accurate and timely manner puts Colmore's reputation at risk and decreases visibility for our clients and internal stakeholders.

Working closely with our clients, the relationship management team and senior management is imperative to ensure we are able to deliver the end result.

Responsibilities:


In this role you will:


  • Daily review of workflow monitoring tools and controls to ensure that deliverables are completed ahead of due dates.
  • Coordinate across locations and functions to ensure that work is distributed appropriately and completed correctly.
  • Attend client / internal stakeholder meetings and provide updates to senior management on progress.
  • Support the compilation and continued enhancement of Management / Client MIS.
  • Support the completion of audit or client control checks, providing evidence of controls.
  • Provide exception reporting to management.
  • Provide escalation visibility to management and senior management where necessary.
  • Assist with formal incident summary reports
  • Identify process / control weaknesses and propose improvements to management / assist with Business case write ups for systemic enhancements.
  • Ensure that KOPs are kept up to date / in line with currently operating practices
  • Process and Review fund processing Data
  • Review client queries
  • Ensure tracking of processor and review process, including logging errors for team training benefit.
  • Provide training and support, coaching and feedback to colleagues.
  • Working with cross functional experts to define the recruitment, training and onboarding plan for new colleagues joining the business. Creating an environment where we attract, retrain, and develop talent
  • Drive performance management across your team, challenge peers to perform.
  • Champion a high performance culture with the attitude to get it right first time.

Qualifications:

You are a good fit if:

  • Experience in a similar role ideally within financial services
  • Experience supervising processes
  • Experience coaching team members
  • Experience managing client expectations and relationships
  • Experience in processing financial data.
  • Private equity knowledge, preferred but not essential
  • A good understanding of fund structures and how funds interact
  • Proficient user of MS Excel and other MS products (confident with handling large datasets, Pivot tables, sumifs, VLOOKUP's understanding of macros not required)
  • Degree or equivalent
  • Forward thinking, creative, efficient, with a level of business acumen
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible team player but equally able to work independently and with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and to meet tight deadlines, whilst maintaining commitment to quality
  • Must be able to take ownership of delegated responsibilities
  • Proven record of/and committed to high quality and service orientation
