- Undertaking a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice, including the provision of secretarial and clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team.
- Data entry and read coding of relevant patient information and medical data into the clinical system.
- Scanning patient information into computerised records, including medical documents, hospital records and letters, as necessary.
- Read-coding the information into the practice's clinical system.
- Retrieving paper notes as requested.
- Photocopying documents as required.
- Dealing with referrals.
- Actioning tasks set by clinicians and the practice manager.
- Processing practice post and emails.
- Reviewing and summarising medical records.
- Handling phone enquiries efficiently.
- Experienced medical administrators, with excellent IT and typing skills.
- Adaptable and friendly, with strong administration, time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communicators able to work in a confidential and discreet manner.
- Able to "think on their feet" in a busy working environment.
- Able to multi-task, work hard and maintain a high level of attention to detail, when under pressure.

About UsMundesley Medical Centre is a GP practice located in a rural location with a patient population of around 6,000. We come under the Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (NWICB) and part of NN2 Primary Care Network (PCN). We work collaboratively with other healthcare providers and support organisations, providing a high standard of clinical care for patients registered with the practice. We embrace a continuous improvement ethos and strive to ensure that we are available to patients when they need a consultation. We have a strong training ethos within the practice.
The Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) is a voluntary annual reward and incentive programme for all GP surgeries in England, detailing practice achievement results. We have high QOF achievement.
Our practice is currently made up of approximately 45 members of staff including: a GP partner, a managing partner, salaried GPs, GP registrar, nurse practitioners, a practice nurse, health care assistants, a phlebotomist, a pharmacy technician, admin team, reception team, GP assistants, dispensary team, patient care coordinators and senior management team.
