Relief Cleaner - Preston, United Kingdom - St George's Shopping Centre
Description
We are looking for a cleaner to join our team at a busy shopping centre in Preston, this is working a zero hour contract which will include holiday, sickness and maternity cover and will include weekends.
The job will involve working within the centre, which will include offices, toilets, shopping centre mall, service corridors and service yards.
A typical shift would be between 5 and 7 hours long with start times from 6am and the latest finish time would be 6:30pm.
Uniform will be supplied.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including restrooms, break rooms, and office spaces
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean windows and glass surfaces
- Restock supplies as needed
- Follow cleaning procedures and guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment

- Attention to detail: Ability to notice and address small details in order to provide thorough cleaning
- Time management: Efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Physical stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
