Shift Digital Printer | Hockley, Essex | Full Time | £25,000-£28,000 depending on experience
We are a small but busy trade book printers and binders based in Hockley, Essex. We are now looking to recruit a skilled Shift Digital Printer to join their fantastic team.

Utilising your experience as a digital printer, we will develop and advance your skills in order to create beautifully printed perfect bound and cased bound books.

Areas to be covered and developed will be all areas within the printing department.

They will work alongside our strong print and book binding team.

Your shift pattern hours are scheduled as follows:

Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm (days and whilst training)

Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm, Friday 6am to 12.00am (Early)

Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10pm, Friday 11.30am to 5.30pm (Late)

Are you the right person for the job?

Digital printing experience or litho printing knowledge
Good IT skills
Excellent communication skills
Good attention to detail
Work to a high level of accuracy
Able to work under pressure
A good sense of humour

What will your role look like?

Carry out tasks and operate any required machines and processes associated with the smooth running of the printing area as requested by the Manager to meet production targets, customer needs, efficiency and quality requirements in line with Standard Operating Procedures
Comply with health and safety regulations within the team and the environment ensuring safe practice regarding the use of equipment and general good housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
