Due to continued success and growth, we're looking for an experienced Compliance officer to join our Compliance team.


What you'll do:

The Compliance & EPA Officer will act as a senior Officer within the Compliance Team structure. The role will be responsible for ensuring operational compliance with ESFA funding rules.

This will include monitoring documentation and evidence packs, carryingout internal audit checks, ensuring enrolments are eligible for funding and completions meet all the necessary requirements.

The postholder will be expected to play a key role in the preparation for audit, both internal and external (ESFA, Ofsted and/or otherbodies).

The postholder will act as a key point of contact within the organisation on operational compliance queries.

They will ensure that accurate data is submitted via the ILR return each month by reviewing key reports (ILR error reports, FRM reports, PDSAT) andcleansing data errors where required.

The role will be responsible for ensuring Intequal funding claims are compliant in accordance with regulatory guidance.


The Compliance & EPA Officer will use their knowledge of the MI-System (PICS) to ensure documentation and data submitted is accurate and compliant.

They will oversee the registration and booking process for all exams and assessments (including End-Point-Assessments)
- co-ordinating with senior staff and partner organisations to streamline any assessment related processes. The postholder will be required to report key performance metrics regarding assessment performance to senior staff / stakeholders. The Compliance &EPA Officer will be expected to attend regular review, standardisation and product review meetings with partner organisations - feeding back findings to the wider Intequal team.

What skills & experience you'll bring:

  • Previous experience of working in a Compliance / Data Processing department within the FE sector.
  • Experience in providing training guidance to colleagues in regards to apprenticeship processes etc.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Exceptional knowledge if Intequal's compliance Policies and Processes.
