£25, % shift allowance

Permanent - Fulltime

Shift patterns:
Monday - Friday - Rotational (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00) Any 5 from 7 during Peak

Location:

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Team Leader to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements.

To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.


WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • Assign work schedules and ensures that team members are trained in warehouse / clerical processes and monitors their progress on a daily basis
  • Direct the work of team members
  • Maintain records and review documents prepared by the team
  • Monitor performance of team members
  • Report any breaches of Health & Safety regulations and incidents/accidents
  • Communicate work practices, procedures and methods to team members, as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Forklift certificate (Warehouse Team Leader)
  • Desirable
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions
  • Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting, in line with Health and Safety regulations
  • IT Literate (especially Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
A recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be well received.
